Home Care Services

City of Ballarat Home Care Services provide in-home support to people of all ages with disabilities and to frail aged people who wish to remain in their own homes but require assistance to maintain their independence. Short-term assistance for families in crisis may also be provided.

Family Day Care Services
Children up to the age of 15 years from Ballarat and district are cared for in approved care givers' homes. Includes daily, full-time, part-time, before and after school, and some short time and emergency care. Cost depends on family income, with Government subsidy available for many families. Book some time before you need it.

The School Dental Service offers dental care to to all primary school children and eligible adolescents in years seven and eight, in fixed and mobile dental clinics across the state.

Youth dental services are available through the Youth Dental Program at all DHSV adult clinics and more than 50 public dental clinics across the state. Youth in secondary school (years 9, 10 , 11 and 12) and those aged 14 to 18 who may have left formal schooling who hold or whose parents hold a valid health care or pensioner concession card are eligible for care.
