Abuse Of The
Elderly
Any older
person could become a victim of
abuse. Abusers can be anyone with whom an older
person has contact (e.g. caregivers, landlords, neighbours, and friends), but
most typically, abusers are family members of the older person (e.g. sons,
daughters, or spouses). Identify the signs and know what to do in these
situations.
Driving In Victoria
Most
older drivers are aware of the limitations ageing can place on their
driving skills. Many older drivers make sure they drive when and where
it is safe.
Home Safety
Make your home safe for the elderly people that
visit you and your family. Assess your house room by room to ensure all
safety measures are in place.
