Australian wildlife with more than 200 species of native birds, mammals and
reptiles displayed in a beautiful bush land setting.

Healesville Sanctuary is
65 kilometres (41 miles) from Melbourne. If you are driving from Melbourne, head
east along Maroondah Highway through Ringwood, Lilydale and Coldstream. Follow
the signs to Healesville. Once in the township of Healesville, turn right into
Badger Creek Road and travel 4 kilometres (2.5 miles). Signs at a roundabout
will direct you to Healesville Sanctuary. |

NEW "Glass Bottom Boat Tours"
Take a behind the scenes tour and a glass bottom boat ride over our 2.2 million
litre Oceanarium. Get up close to sharks, stingrays, turtles and over 3,000 fish
of the Southern Ocean. You will get an in depth educational tour of the 'behind
the scenes' action at the Melbourne Aquarium and a chance to talk to the divers

reach the Zoo. Tram 55 from William Street Monday-Saturday and Tram 68 from

picnics and large social parties. Depending on the needs of your group, marquees
may also be set up. More formal functions are also possible
through the assistance and expertise of our on-site caterers 'artistic'.

The average length of a visit is approximately 4
